Preparation of the dossier for the declaration of Lorquí’s Holy Week in as a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest.
The project underlines its tourist relevance supported by a rigorous historical and ethnographic study that highlights the historical, artistic and cultural wealth of this celebration. The work has included the organization and redaction of content, as well as the graphic design of materials that highlight the values of the festivity.
Holy Week in Lorquí, whose origins date back to the 17th century, stands out for the artistic excellence of its processional sculptures, works by the sculptor Francisco Salzillo declared a Goods of Cultural Interest BIC (*national recognition for heritage) . Its uniqueness lies in the preservation of centuries-old acts, such as the Blessing of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth and the Holy Unnailing, which consolidate this festivity as a tourist reference in the Region of Murcia.
