Rehabilitation of the Leiva Castle. Program for improving the competitiveness and dynamization of the Historical Heritage for tourist use of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain

Technical assistance for the development and submision of the project “Rehabilitation and tourist use of Leiva’s Castle”. Creation of the Interpretation Centre about the Castles of La Rioja, presented to the Program for improving the competitiveness and dynamization of the Historical Heritage for tourist use of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain.

During the implementation of this project Kultura worked in dialogue with the General Directorate of Tourism of La Rioja in order to develop a candidacy that would promote the definitive recovery of the Leiva’s Castle (BIC) through the creation of an Interpretation Center about the Riojan Castles, thus transforming it into a tourist attraction that would act as a catalyst for the local economy and it will promote the integration and development of the region.

The application was granted in July 2024 for the amount of 2.994.538,00 euros.
